Clothes distribution for Poor and Needy in Maan Village (27/12/2009)
The Trust collected New / Old clothes in good condition from the bhaktas, voluntarily and distributed them to the poor and needy people, many of them who are sleeping on the road side (foot paths, bus stops etc.) in the region around village Maan of Mulshi Taluka (Pune District). Collection of the clothes was done by some of the volunteers for over one month. on 27th Dec 2009 distribution started at 10 am in the morning. Volunteers did a distribution rally in the region and identified needy people who are sleeping by the road side without proper covering from this winter cold or poor persons deprived of basic clothes. This initiative has helped nearly 100 people. Trustees, Mr. & Mrs. Mohite played a vital role in this distribution rally.
Many poor people are in the need of clothes. Especially old people, they require blankets, Sarees and shirts. So the Trust had decided to carry on this program repeatedly in different Parts of Pune and region surrounding Pune. The Trust is also mobilizing it's volunteers in different locations of Maharashtra, so that such activities can be done in different location in Maharashtra.
Birthday Celebration of P. Pu. Sadgurnath Shri Kaka Maharaj (03/12/2009)
We have in India many different colorful festivals indicating happiness, joy, moods, colors, flavors, fragrances and so on. we felt this year we celebrated festival of Aura from 29th Nov to 3rd Dec.
our P Pu. Sadgurunath Shri Kaka Maharaj's birthday, is a very important day for all of us. Shri Sadguru's birthday falls on same day as "Dutta Jayanti". P. Pu. Sadgurunath Sewa Parivar celebrated this auspicious week by reciting "Guru Charitra", Naam sadhana and by offering prayers. As a promotional activity, Trust offered their wishes to Shri Sadguru through News paper and Television Channels.
Blood Checkup Camp for Poor and Needy (22/11/2009)
BY the Grace of Shri Kaka Maharaj, a "Concessional Blood Check-up camp" for poor and needy people was organized by P. Pu. Sadgurunath Shri Kaka Maharaj Sewa Parivar on 22nd Nov 2009. The Camp was a grand Success with more than 80 people in the Wadar Wasti of Karve Nagar taking advantage of the camp. The camp was organized at the Shri. Sai Baba Temple at Karve Nagar in the vicinity of the Trustees, Mr. & Mrs. Mohite
Discourse (Satsang) for people at Old Age Homes
In line with the mission of the Trust to spread the teaching of Sadguru Shri Kaka Maharaj, the trust has come up with novel idea of playing DISCOURSE (Satsang) CD's of Shri Kaka Maharaj in various Old age Homes.
The Trustees identified few old age home in Pune, where this novel activity of Satsang can be carried out. These Satsangs are very well received by the Old persons living in these old age homes, one being run by the "Pune Mahila Mandal" in parvati Area of pune. Encouraged by the response to these Satsang, satsang is being arranged every week at the said Old age home. Similar efforts are being made to spread the teachings of Sadguru Shri Kaka Maharaj and make the life of people happier.
Medical Camp for women at Karve Nagar (19/08/2009)
BY the Grace of Shri Kaka Maharaj, a free medical camp for Women was organized by P. Pu. Shri Kaka Maharaj Sewa Parivar. The Camp was held for the Poor and needy Women in the Wadar Wasti of Karve Nagar and was held at the Shri. Saibaba Temple at Karvenagar in the vicinity of the Trustees, Mr. & Mrs. Mohite. The camp started with introduction about Sadguru Shri. Kaka Maharaj and message on the teachings of Sadguru Kaka Maharaj. The Camp was a grand success with over 100 women participating in the camp. Everybody who attained the camp got proper advice on their health from well qualified Doctors and few tests were done wherever required.
Promotional Camp at Alandi (13/06/2009 to 15/06/2009)
In order to promote & Propagate the Discourse of Shri Kaka Maharaj, the Trust had organized a Promotional Camp where CDs of Discourse were played aloud in Alandi during the Hindu months of Jeshta for Warkaris just before the commencement of the Wari.
Medical Checkup Camp at Alandi (23/05/2009)
The Trust successfully conducted its first Medical Check-up camp at Alandi, for check-up of Blood and Sugar. About 40 People benefited from this Camp.
Free distribution of blankets to shelter less
Trust had undertaken a noble drive of distribution of blankets & rugs footpath the persons without shelter to protect them from severe cold.
Distribution of school material to the poor students
In order to help poor and needy students from schools & colleges, the trust distributed free school material like note books, textbooks, uniforms, stationeries etc.
Dental Check-up camp
A dental check-up camp was conducted at Alandi in association with Jagannath Rathi Trust. Many persons suffering from oral and dental ailments did benefit from this camp.
